Company identification
International Tourism Group S.A.S., a commercial company domiciled in Cartagena de Indias, identified with NIT 900.370.573-1, hereinafter “ITG”, operates under the brands ITG Colombia, CitySightseeing Cartagena, and Local Expert Cartagena. ITG is registered with the National Tourism Registry (RNT) and carries out activities as a tour operator agency, including tours, excursions, transfers, travel packages, and the organization of corporate and MICE events.
Scope of the terms and conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between ITG and its clients, whether natural persons, legal entities, wholesale agencies, retail agencies, or final consumers. By booking and/or acquiring any of ITG’s services, the client declares to have read, understood, and accepted this policy.
Legal framework
ITG’s operations are governed by: Law 300 of 1996 (General Tourism Law), Law 1558 of 2012, Law 1480 of 2011 (Consumer Protection Statute), regulations of the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, as well as current Colombian migration, customs, transportation, and safety regulations.
Services offered
ITG provides the following tourism services:
a) Regular and private tours and excursions.
b) Land and maritime transfers.
c) Domestic and international travel packages.
d) Receptive services.
e) Organization of MICE events.
f) Marketing of products to wholesale agencies and final clients.
Reservations and payments
Reservations are confirmed only upon advance payment of 50% of the total service value, or 100% in cases where required. Payments may be made in Colombian pesos or in authorized foreign currencies, in accordance with current exchange regulations.
Cancellation and refund policy
Cancellations must be notified in writing to ITG. Penalties will apply according to the specific conditions of each service. For non-refundable services or with providers that do not allow refunds, ITG will inform the client in advance.
Itg’s obligations
a) Provide the contracted services under the offered terms.
b) Clearly inform the conditions, limitations, and requirements of the services.
c) Protect personal data in accordance with Law 1581 of 2012.
d) Comply with safety, quality, and sustainable tourism standards.
Client’s obligations
a) Provide truthful and complete information.
b) Comply with migration and health requirements.
c) Respect coexistence, safety, and sustainability regulations.
d) Pay the total price within the established deadlines.
Liability and limitations
ITG acts as an intermediary between clients and providers. It is not responsible for delays, losses, accidents, or damages attributable to third parties or force majeure. Its liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.
Mice division
In corporate and MICE events, ITG may subcontract providers for logistics, catering, technology, entertainment, and other services. The client accepts that ITG assumes full responsibility for ensuring quality in the services provided by these subcontractors, as long as they are directly contracted and supervised by ITG.
In cases where the client decides to divide event services between ITG and other providers, ITG will not be held responsible for any impacts this decision may have on the event’s development.
Sustainability and traveler protection
ITG promotes sustainable tourism practices and complies with the regulations for the protection of minors (Law 679 of 2001). The sexual or labor exploitation of minors is strictly prohibited.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the judges of Cartagena de Indias.
Acceptance
By acquiring the tourism services offered by ITG, the client declares to fully understand and accept these Terms and Conditions.
